Keynote Speaker: Patrick H.
(Pat) Head,
Cobb County District Attorney

After earning a Juris Doctorate
degree from Woodrow Wilson
College of Law in 1978, Pat
engaged in the private practice
of law until his election as
Solicitor for the State Court of
Cobb County in 1984. He served
as Solicitor from January 1985
through December 1992.
Pat then returned to private
practice in January 1993 until
election as District Attorney in
July 1998 in a special
election. He served as Cobb
District Attorney, Judicial
Circuit, from November 5, 1998
to present.
He is a member of the Board of
Governors for the State Bar of
Georgia, member of the State
Board of Public Safety and
member of the Advisory Board for
the North Central Law
Enforcement Academy.
His diverse church, civic and
charitable experiences have been
with the Cobb Boys Club and
Girls Club, Society; March of
Dimes, and the Leukemia Society,
He was co-chair of the American
Cancer Society 2004 Swordsman's
Ball, serves on the advisory
board for United Way in Cobb
County, member of Cobb Chamber
of Commerce and co-chair of the
2004 Cobb Chamber Public Safety
Appreciation Committee.
Pat has two daughters. He is
married to Beverly Collins and
has three step daughters and
five step grandchildren. He
grew up in the United Methodist
Church, and served two terms as
chairman of the Administrative
Board of his church. He has been
a member of GIDEONS
INTERNATIONAL since 1983.

Club; and for outstanding
service to the citizens of Cobb
